Activist Ben Longwe praises President Chakwera for creating conducive environment for civic space 

Malawi Leader President Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera continues receiving praise from his critiques.

It all started with Joshua Chisambere who criticised Chakwera day and night but from no where , he changed tune after fully understanding Chakwera vision.

Just recently, another Chakwera critic Ben Longwe extended warmest words to the State President of the Republic of Malawi Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera for creating a friendly room for activism in the country.

Longwe, in a recording, that went viral on Saturday December 16, 2023 clarifies that President Chakwera respects the rule of law hence esteems rights of Malawians to demonstrate against unpopular government decisions and actions without police interference. Thanks to Zikhale and his homeland security ministry.

Throughout the eleven-minute oratory Longwe cites a good example of Malawi First leader Bon “Dangerous Child” Kalindo as a punchman who has been organizing demonstrations, caught by police severally but always comes out clean, healthy and strong like an anti-pork adventist unlike in the previous Democratic Progressive Party regime when the Mtambos, Trapences, Semberekas and other Human Rights Defenders’ Coalition (HRDC) top brass were being tortured, poisoned, bombed and assaulted like wild animals.

Longwe further apologises for his past calls for Malawians to vote for the court-injunction-infested Democratic Progressive Party in 2025.

For the past three years, Longwe has become a household brand of human rights fights due to his eloquent, acidic and edifying commentaries whose poetry revolves around unquenchable call for justice and fairness.

Most critics have either gone for self hibernation because chakwera is performing beyond expectation of many people.

The president has managed to bring back donor confidence following the approval of Extended Credit Facility (ECD).
