Minister Chithyola says Malawi economy on the right path to recovery

Minister of Finance simplex Chithyola Banda has called on Malawians to rally behind President Dr Lazarus Chakwera saying under his leadership the economy is quickly reviving despite going through difficult economic environment.

The Minister was speaking at Mvama Primary School when he was a guest of honour during a price Presentation of Jiya’s K8 Million Football and netball Trophy.

Speaking during the ceremony, Chithyola praised the President for rebuilding the economy. He cited the continuous availability of fuel in all gas stations in the country as well as uninterrupted flow of essential medicines in the country.

The Minister said Malawi is currently having adequate flow of foreign currency an indication that the economy is back at its feet.

Chithyola has since appealed to Malawians resident.

In his speech, Member of Parliament for the area Alfred Jiya commended the Minister of Finance Simplex Chithyola Banda and the Malawi leader Dr Lazarus Chakwera for all the developments taking place in the constituency.

Jiya gave the example of Senti – Cheni – Cheni nchiti Road which is currently under construction.
