The Malawi’s well known International School, St Andrews is expected to visit Tete Mozambique where the school is expected to launch Music Album. The launch is a response of a vibrant relationship that exists between Malawi and Mozambique under President Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera. According to a statement released, this follows the success of Lilongwe Marketing tours. “In preparation for the trip, we were honoured to receive a visit this week from Malawi Consul General in Tete, Mr. Happy Saka. During the meeting with the Head teacher, he offered full support of the Malawi Consulate as we seek to expand our catchment area, promote enhanced economic and cultural ties between Malawi and Mozambique and develop the next generation of young African leaders,” reads part of the statement. The statement further said, Mrs Samanyika as well as Mr. Izzet, the admission team and senior students will be visiting Tete from Wednesday 5 June to Saturday 8th June. Since President Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera ascended into power, he has managed to ensure a good relationship with his neighboring countries. He started his first year term by visiting all his neighboring countries such as Tanzania, Zambia , Zimbabwe, and Mozambique. In return all the leaders from the neighboring countries including Filipe Nyusi from Mozambique visited Malawi. In addition, the appointment of Happy Saka as Consul General of Tete Mozambique has helped in achieving and attainment of cordial relationship between people from the two countries. During his tenure in office , we have seen various artists performing in Mozambique including the Reggie jamming machine , Skeffa Chimoto.
