Malawi leader President Dr Lazarus Chakwera on Saturday assured the citizens in the country that all the circumstances behind the tragic death of Vice President Saulos Chilima will be investigated accordingly and that people should remain at peace and calm. The President said Malawians are desperate to know what really happened, and it’s a prayer of everyone to understand what caused the plane crash. Addressed mourners during the memorial service of late Vice President Saulos Chilima at Bingu National Stadium , Chakwera assured Malawians of proper investigations behind this tragic events as he had already approached independent investigators from other countries to conduct the probe. “It’s my plea to all Malawians that we should continue being at peace and calm for proper investigations to take place,” he said. Chakwera has since condoled Malawians and the Chilima family over the loss of Dr Saulos Chilima.
