Malawi leader Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, has encouraged local Malawians to invest in businesses to help the country realize it’s dreams. Speaking after inspecting Cement Product Limited Njereza Plant on Saturday, President Chakwera emphasized the need for massive investment in all sectors of development. The President appealed to local Malawians to be the first to invest in order to facilitate the country’s progress. The Malawi leader then commended Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s) for standing strong in their operations in the face of challenges rocking the country’s economy. Chakwera also commended Cement Products Limited for its substantial investment in the mining sector. Chakwera explained that a prosperous Malawi is achievable if local investors collaborate with the government to make substantial investments.
