Malawi Exclusive Receives 200 Bags of Organic Fertilizers Salvation for All Ministries International Founder Apostle Clifford Kawinga’s Hope Field Initiative has been commended for its continued efforts in supporting Malawi’s food security initiatives through empowering local farmers with sustainable agricultural practices. In recognition of the initiative’s impact, Munda Wathu Limited has donated 200 bags of organic fertilizer to Hope Field Initiative. The donation is aimed at promoting the use of organic fertilizers among smallholder farmers and encouraging environmentally friendly farming methods. Speaking after presenting the donation, Munda Wathu Limited Co-founder and Marketing Director, Patience Zindondo, said the company is committed to raising awareness on the benefits of organic fertilizers, noting that prolonged use of chemical fertilizers has negatively affected soil health. “We have taken this opportunity to partner with established cooperatives like Hope Field Initiative because we have already seen the benefits of organic fertilizers. They improve soil fertility, increase productivity, and can significantly contribute to reducing hunger,” said Zindondo. She further called on the government to strengthen collaboration with agricultural cooperatives such as Hope Field Initiative, saying they play a crucial role in promoting sustainable food production and ensuring long-term food security. Receiving the donation, Pastor Ruth Kawinga who is also spouse to Apostle Clifford Kawinga, expressed gratitude to Munda Wathu Limited, describing the support as timely and significant in advancing the organization’s mission. “We are sincerely grateful for this generous support. As we continue reaching out to farmers with sustainable farming practices, these organic fertilizers will go a long way in helping us achieve our goals and improve agricultural productivity,” said Kawinga. Hope Field Initiative has been actively working with farming communities across the country, promoting climate-smart agriculture and sustainable farming techniques aimed at improving livelihoods and strengthening national food security. The donation is expected to benefit many farmers by encouraging the adoption of organic fertilizers, which help restore soil fertility while protecting the environment.
