By Kondanani Chilimunthaka President Lazarus Chakwera has commended Bonongwe Construction Company, a company which has been contracted to construct a State-of-the-art modern Mwanza Community Stadium for engaging communities in Mwanza district to over 80 percent of its labour force. Chakwera who on Friday undertook a number of official duties in Mwanza district including the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the stadium said, he was happy to see a good number of locals being included in those to work on the site of construction, saying it means the project really benefits the people of Mwanza. “I met the youths who are part of the construction company working on this stadium, and 80 percent of them are from this same district, meaning we are giving job opportunity to the community where the project is being implemented as well. We will continue to make sure our youths get involved in various projects, and I am committed to work with you while bringing many other projects here in Mwanza for your benefit” Said President Chakwera.
