Salima Sugar Company geared to make sugar available across the country

Salima Sugar Company has signed agreements with various traders across the country with an aim of making Salima Sugar available across the country.

The agreements will see the traders opening different sugar depots across the country.

Salima Sugar Company Board chair Wester Peter Kosamu says the company wants its sugar to be distributed across the country without hurdles.

Meanwhile, the company has already opened sugar depots throughout the country.
“We are targeting 44 Depots as the first phase then will be expanding from there,” he says .

Salima sugar Company has already opened the sugar depot at Siya- Siya Trading Centre in Salima which is already operational.
