People’s Party (PP) vice President for the north Duncan Kaonga is allegedly accused of illegally selling someone’s mansion in Blantyre.

This according to rumours circulating.

The rumours alleged that Kaonga who is also PP shadow MP for Karonga South Constituency did this last year around Kanjeza in the commercial city of Blantyre.

“The owner of the house stays outside the country and was a friend to him. However, when the owner returned home for a holiday was surprised to learn that his mansion was sold to a Mwenye,” rumours alleged without mentioning his or her name.

The rumours further alleged that Kaonga has been bribing the authorities and any concerned person in order burry the issue.

“The owner left the country but put the issue in the hands of authority but nothing is being done because the said authority were palm oiled,” rumours added.

But in a phone interview, Kaonga vehemently denied the allegations.

“I have not sold a mansion of anyone in Blantyre. I don’t know the story,” he disclosed. Effort to talk with Blantyre Police proved futile.
