Malawi’s celebrated man of God, Apostle Clifford Kawinga, Founder and current President of Salvation for All Ministries International, has donated K30 million to Mulhako wa Alhomwe.

The funds are expected to support the 2026 Mulhako wa Alhomwe ceremony scheduled for early October 2026 at Chonde, ensuring the cultural gathering takes place with the dignity and scale it deserves.

Apostle Kawinga’s donation reflects a deepened commitment to advancing culture at all levels, following his recognition of the critical role culture plays in the social, political, and economic development of our country.

It demonstrates his undisputed zeal for preserving Malawi’s cultural heritage, promoting national unity, and supporting initiatives that strengthen communities.

By backing Mulhako wa Alhomwe, Apostle Kawinga affirms that cultural institutions are essential infrastructure for nation building.

The preservation of language, history, and tradition fosters social cohesion and a shared sense of identity.

Cultural festivals and heritage initiatives also generate sustainable economic opportunities for artisans, performers, vendors, and the tourism sector.

His gesture models inclusive leadership. It shows that safeguarding Malawi’s diverse cultures advances the broader goal of national unity and collective progress.

When leaders invest in heritage such as Mulhako wa Alhomwe, they invest in identity. People who know who they are do not break easily under political pressure.

Apostle Kawinga understands that cultural events drive local business. From dancers to vendors to tourism, heritage transforms tradition into income.

The donation also comes after Mulhako wa Alhomwe recently held a fundraising dinner and dance to mobilize resources for the upcoming ceremony.

Apostle Kawinga’s K30 million therefore strengthens those efforts and assures continuity of the cultural programme.
