Zikhale woo Machinga people for Chakwera

MCP Director of strategic planning Ken Zikhale Ng’oma has urged People in Machinga district to rally behind president Lazarus Chakwera,as his leadership style focuses to unite all people in the country.

Zikhale who is also minister of homeland security was speaking at a rally he conducted at Chaka ground in the area of Senior chief Nyambi in Machinga district.

Ng’oma highlighted that President Chakwera has aligned various developmental projects in Machinga district like the establishment of Longani scheme which will be key in terms of food security.

Ng’oma further urged people to support president Chakwera and Malawi Congress Party (MCP), as the president has shown the zeal to develop the country and improve the lives of people.

On hunger, Zikhale said that the Chakwera government is working tirelessly to ensure that all people in the country have food.

“Iam so happy that now people have known the truth of what the president is doing in the country,this is the reason why people have now started joining the party,” Ng’oma said.

On his part, Uladi Mussa ( Change golo) indicated that President Chakwera is the only president who can unite the country, as he is distributing developmental projects in all the regions without looking at cultural lines.

Mussa further thanked president Chakwera for releasing him in prison,hence pledging to support president Chakwera.

Meanwhile,Over 100 people from Democratic Progressive Party ( DPP) have joined Malawi Congress Party.

Some notable figures who were present at the rally include, former speaker of parliament Esther Mcheka Chilenje, Publicity Secretary Kondi Msungama, Eastern Region Foster Ntandama, Deputy director of strategic planning Kelita Kanyandula, Babu Khamisa, Charles Josh, paramount chief Kawinga and other senior chiefs.
